$250.00 per hour reviewing papers and conducting hearing (2-hour minimum). |
Thus, a one-day, six-hour hearing with a written opinion would cost the parties a total of $2,300.00 (plus $500.00 for each Hearing Brief that is submitted).
Advance Payment of Fee: Hearing, Hearing Brief Review, Opinion Drafting, and Tentative Opinion Procedure Fees must be paid within 15 days of the date of the Notice of Hearing. Telephone Conference and Pre-Hearing Proceeding Fees must be paid within 15 days of the date of the invoice for such services. No hearing will commence until all of the foregoing fees have been paid. If the parties request additional hearing time, the fees for that time must be paid at the time the arbitrator agrees to the request. Supplemental Brief Review Fees must be paid when the supplemental brief is served. (See also Rule 5.)
Refund/Cancellation/Rescheduling Fee Policy: If the parties send a written notice of their agreement to cancel an arbitration hearing to Haggerty Arbitrations at least 14 days before the hearing, the fees previously advanced will be refunded less a $500 cancellation fee. If such notice is sent less than 14 days, but at least 48 hours before, the hearing, the cancellation fee will be $1,000. Otherwise, the cancellation fee will be $1,500. If the parties send a written notice of their agreement to reschedule an arbitration hearing to Haggerty Arbitrations at least 14 days before the hearing, there will be a rescheduling fee of $300. Otherwise, the rescheduling fee will be $600.
